About Marian
As a young girl, I admired colorful, textural Asian clothing.
Pursuing this interest, I chose a college curriculum that included courses in interior design, textiles, tailoring, fabric weaving, textile printing, pattern-making, and studio art. Several years after graduation, I returned to study business administration.
Marian Wong Design opened for business in 1997. As an owner and designer, I create interior décor accessories primarily using fabrics with global designs. The fashions of the global culture and the eclectic 1970s' hippie styles influence my design sensibilities.
The Marian Wong Design studio is located in Sacramento, California. In addition to the studio and this online store, I sell my interior décor accessories at shows throughout California.
